A time warp is discovered in Las Vegas- could it be…aliens?

Joshua Warren, a paranormal investigator is claiming that there is a time warp on the outskirts of Sin City. What exactly is going on there?

Newsweek is reporting that Joshua Warren, a paranormal investigator experienced a time warp on the outskirts of Las Vegas between I-15 and Route 93.  Apparently, he saw time slow down for approximately 20 microseconds.

Warren told Fox 5 KVVU-TV that he was able to measure this anomaly with a differential time rate meter invented by engineer Ron Heath. What exactly does this device do? Well, it is used by UFO researchers.

By design, the meter supposedly can detect technology that bends space-time or a gravity propulsion system. It is commonly thought that UFOs travel through space utilizing wormholes which would make travel from another galaxy much quicker. Let’s explore that theory some more.

Paging Stephen Hawking

According to the Skeptics Boot website, “The meter sends a signal from one end of the system to the other and then back.” Basically, it measures “the time it takes for the signal to complete its journey and then compares the expected time it takes for the signal to complete its journey to the actual time.” If there is a difference in the calculation, then the apparatus will display it.

What could have caused this discrepancy? If you want to believe that a warp can occur in space and time then you would go along with the idea that there would have to be an extremely strong force generating it. Commonly, black holes are thought to be the cause since they possess a powerful gravitational attraction.

While all this sounds cool, no one has detected a black hole on earth. It has been proposed that they actually cause the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle and other areas like it (The Dragon’s Triangle). However, none of that has been proven.

So, that leaves worm holes out as the cause of the time warp issue. Could our government have developed a new technology that they are trying out? After all, Area 51 is in the vicinity.

But would they actually be trying to manipulate space-time on a highway that is regularly traveled? That seems pretty risky.

Or could it be UFOs? It is no secret that Nevada particularly Vegas and the surrounding areas are hotspots for UAP (Unidentified aerial phenomenon). It is quite common to have “missing time” after a sighting.

Doesn’t Compute

While I want to believe these facts do not jibe with me at all. Why is this guy suddenly the person to report this great discovery? If it occurred once, it may have occurred sometime in the past but why hasn’t anyone else spoken out about it?

It seems like it would be newsworthy.  Joshua Warren states that he is going to “continue measuring time rate around Las Vegas to see if any pattern can be deciphered.” Which is all fine and good but I am leaning toward a more practical explanation.

The DT Meter has a 100-foot cable that contains the sensor which sends the signal back for computation. Everyone knows that temperatures routinely rise over 110 degrees in the desert on a fairly regular basis.

To pick up subtle changes in space-time, the cable would be extra sensitive. According to Skeptics Boot, heat would cause the cable to expand which would “cause the signal to travel farther,” ensuring that the end result would not be accurate.

In the interest of fairness, here is Joshua Warren’s account of the incident.

Perhaps, he can explore his theories with Giorgio Tsoukalos from Ancient Aliens. That would make for a very entertaining program.
