Want to enter a rift, fight as a dream warrior, and be Candyman’s victim? Then you need to be at Chicago Flashback Weekend this August. We’ve got ticket info!

Mike and Mia Kerz, the creators of Chicago Flashback Weekend, have been adding major names to their guest list since early last Fall. The Evil Dead franchise will be well represented by Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and Ted Raimi.

A Nightmare on Elm Street stars Robert Englund and Heather Langenkamp will be there. And, the Candyman and Helen, Tony Todd and Virginia Madsen, will be haunting the halls of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel along with many other guests.

Tickets go on sale Monday, April 8 at approximately 2:00 PM CDT. Per the con’s official FaceBook page, in addition to Ultimate Package and weekend passes, there will be special VIP tickets for Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.

While pricing is not yet listed, I can tell you from experience that the Ultimate Package is worth every penny. You get three day access to the con, a nice swag bag, and access to a private meet and greet with the celebrity guests on Saturday night.

Chicago Flashback Weekend has been a gathering of horror fans in the Chicagoland area since 2002. One of the main philanthropic goals of the con is to help support the American Drive-In movie theater. There are usually outdoor movie screenings with celebrity guests on Friday and Saturday nights. While no titles for this year have been released, we can take solid guesses based on the guest list.

The con will take place at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel. In order to ensure you have a room at the con, it’s suggested you make reservations before July 20. Rooms are getting scarce, so act fast if you’d like to reserve one for the weekend.

One of the coolest additions to Chicago Flashback Weekend is The Murray Brothers Caddyshack restaurant. It’s located within the hotel and the offer a horror themed menu throughout the weekend. Caddyshack is owned and run by Bill Murray and his brothers. It’s named and themed after the iconic 1980 comedy Caddyshack.

That’ll be a good place to rest in between meeting celebrity guests, which also include Lance Henriksen, Tom Atkins, Alicia Witt, Melinda Clarke, and Cerina Vincent. There’s even going to be a Night of the Creeps reunion.
