Bruce Campbell will be appearing on our TV screens once again starting June 9 as host of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for Travel Channel. If you are wondering what that is going to be like, check out the sizzle reel from the website.
Bruce Campbell is going back to his roots so to speak when he takes over the reins as the host of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! on June 9. Why do we say that? Well, the actor started his career in Detroit hosting industrial films and more recently as the M.C. of his live trivia show, Last Fan Standing.
So, this is a recipe for success for Travel Channel. Ever since the news broke on New Year’s Eve, Campbell’s fans have been wondering what the series would look like and what type of stories would be featured?
Now, the network is doing a full-on media blitz to give viewers a taste of what to expect on the first season of the reboot. If you download the Travel Channel app, you can get a sneak peek. That’s not all. You can now view a sizzle reel and the commercial via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
Fans can get a glimpse of Bruce introducing and narrating those fabulous stories. Of course, in addition to the sensational such as a man who pulls cars with his teeth, this incarnation of Ripley’s is focusing on the inspirational as well.

In the case of a man nicknamed Twisty Troy, he took an ability that made him feel like an outcast in his youth and turned it into a vehicle for him to gain friends. As a contortionist who could move and bend his body in unusual ways, he would delight his fellow classmates with this skill at the art school he attended instead of hiding it teaching others to embrace their differences.
