Beam me up! Aliens are invading IMDb TV this month

AMARGOSA VALLEY, NEVADA - JULY 21: A convenience store named the Area 51 Alien Center is seen along U.S. highway 95 on July 21, 2019 in Amargosa Valley, Nevada. A Facebook event entitled, "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us," which the author meant as a joke, suggested the attendees to meet up at this colorful tourist attraction before storming the highly classified U.S. Air Force facility on September 20, 2019, to address a conspiracy theory that the U.S. government is conducting tests with space aliens. Aliens are taking over IMDb TV this month with a huge array of science fiction films and television series available to stream for free!

Are you planning on attending the big semi-joke-semi-real Area 51 raid that “supposedly” takes place next Friday, September 20? Well even if you’re not, IMDb TV is offering a line-up full of aliens and more!

IMDb TV is free to watch through IMDb and on Amazon fire stick devices. You can also sign-up for the IMDb TV channel with your Amazon Prime Video membership.

Unfortunately, IMDb TV does have ads, but it’s free! And it doesn’t have nearly the same amount you’ll find on traditional network television which is a huge plus.

If aliens aren’t your thing, they also offer a plethora of other genre films. Next month King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Charlotte’s Web, and more will be available to watch.

More from Aliens

However, if you are a sci-fi fanatic, some personal favorites you can watch free are Donnie Darko, Monsters vs. Aliens, and Moon!

Donnie Darko is the surreal cult favorite starring Jake Gyllenhaal as he tries to figure out what the strange bunny following him around wants. The end of the world is coming and Donnie could be the key to unraveling it all.

Monsters vs. Aliens is more for kids and families but it’s an adorable animated film that stars Reese Witherspoon in the main role. Susan has the perfect life until she’s hit by a meteorite and is transformed into “Ginormica.” She is then taken to a top-secret alien facility where she makes a few surprising new friends.

Finally, Sam Rockwell stars in Moon, a classic sci-fi feature that follows a lone man who is reaching the end of his helium mining trip on the moon. Despite the movie not doing well at the box office, it was critically-acclaimed and still resonant today.
