UFO over the Hamptons: Is this another “Tic Tac” sighting?

Designed by French aeronautical engineer Rene Couzinet (1904 - 1956), the Aerodyne was to feature two contra-rotating crowns of 96 small wings rotating around a motionless cockpit. These were to be powered by six 180 HP Lycoming engines in three pairs. Horizontal propulsion was to be provided by the jet engine, which can be seen mounted under the cockpit. The aircraft was refused government backing, however, and never reached the prototype stage. (Photo by Keystone/Hulton Archive/Getty Images)

ET Data Base reported a UFO off the coast of the Hamptons on Long Island. Could this be another “Tic Tac” sighting?

UFO interest is at an all time high. This weekend, we had the pseudo raid being held near Area 51 so that conspiracy theorists could “see them aliens.” The Navy recently revealed that Tom DeLonge’s footage of the “Tic Tac” shaped  Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon being chased by fighter pilots off the USS Nimitz in 2004 was real and that it should have never been released.

Now, according to Scott Waring’s website, ET Data Base, a UFO was captured on video by a family on vacation in the Hamptons. While I don’t think this is concrete evidence that extraterrestrials are invading our air space, it still is an interesting discussion to undertake.

Bear in mind, when viewing the film, the object in question seems light years away. However, what we can see is the somewhat erratic flight pattern. As every Ufologist knows, that is one of the hallmarks or distinguishing characteristics of alien craft.

This particular example is very reminiscent of the “Tic Tac” and “Gimbal” filmed UFOs from To the Stars Academy of Arts & Science’s now famous video. Even when Waring uses software to enhance the Hamptons object it does bare a passing resemblance. Now, that is not to say that it couldn’t have been altered in any program that is used for creating special effects.

More from Aliens

While ET Data Base sees a more traditional saucer shaped craft, I see more of a cylindrical outline. As with any report, it should be examined from every angle before categorizing it as undeniable proof that aliens exist and are visiting earth.

There is a military installation nearby. The Francis S. Gabreski Air National Guard Base is located in Westhampton Beach. This particular facility specializes in personnel recovery, combat search and rescue capability as well as expeditionary combat support. Granted, it doesn’t appear to be a place that would test experimental aircraft.

That being said, let’s compare the footage from the U.S. Navy and the recent imagery from the Hamptons.

There are unanswered questions in the air. When the footage from the USS Nimitz originally debuted in December of 2017 in a huge New York Times exposé on our government funding a secret UFO study (Advanced Aerial Threat Identification Program or AATIP), why didn’t the Navy speak out then? They admit that they don’t have an explanation for what is in the video but they are quick to point out that the objects aren’t necessarily alien in nature.

While the phone capture of the Hamptons UFO appears to be legitimate there is always that nagging suspicion that it could be doctored. Maybe someday in the near future, we will know exactly what is hovering in the skies above us…

Do you think the Hamptons UFO footage is legit or enhanced? Is it another “Tic Tac?” Let us know in the comments.
