Why Shudder needs to pick up Holliston for Season 3
By Devin Shea
As fans gather in the comments sections of Adam Green’s livestreams, it is apparent they want Holliston Season 3 and here is why I think Shudder is the perfect location.
Since the beginning of the week, Adam Green has been hosting Coronapocalypse, daily livestreams of his writing, movies and shows on the ArieScope Youtube page. It has been such a great way for his fans to get together, watch some of our favorite content and ask Adam Green and other members of the cast and crew some burning questions.
The remainder of Coronapocalypse is streaming the first and second season of Holliston. Fans have been chomping at the bit for a 3rd season, but the show has nowhere to stream and I think that Shudder may be the perfect place.
Shudder is home to another FearNet classic, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. It seems only natural that the channel ‘s brethren, Holliston, would find a fine home in Shudder. Not only that, but the amount of series that Shudder is housing has increased and fans have been responding extremely well to their additions.
For those of you that have never seen Holliston, it is semi-autobiographical. Adam Green and Joe Lynch play Adam and Joe, best friends and aspiring filmmakers that are just trying to get their movie, Shin Pads, made.

Joe has a girlfriend, Laura (Laura Ortiz) and Adam is still hung up on his ex, Corri (Corri English). All the while they work at a dead end job making local commercials for their glam rock obsessed boss, Lance Rockett (Dee Snider).
This horror-themed is silly, hilarious and really hits you in the feels at times. Plus, they completely disregard the rules of sitcoms and the 4th wall is barely a suggestion.
Even though it is a pretty niche series, the Holliston Nation is strong and will follow Adam anywhere that Holliston goes. Honestly, Shudder can only increase its stream base by adding this series to its lineup.
There are plenty of Adam Green, Joe Lynch, Kane Hodder, Danielle Harris or Derek Mears (and a hell of a lot more) fans that haven’t had their respective eyeballs blessed with this show but have nowhere to see it. If you want to see Season 3 of Holliston (and the previous 2) added to Shudder, then RESPECTIVELY tweet and tag the streaming service in a plea for the series to be picked up.
Holliston deserves to get a third season and the fans deserve it too. You can see Season 2 on Adam’s stream starting tomorrow and I would recommend that you do so.
What do you think of Holliston? Have you seen it? Is there another streaming service that would make a good home? Let us know in the comments!
