Dexter: New Blood episode 7 release date and preview

With just four episodes left of Dexter: New Blood, next week’s episode promises to bring in some serious plot developments. In Dexter: New Blood episode 7, Angela requests Dexter, the forensic specialist, Morgan’s help in identifying Iris’s body and figuring out how she died.

The previous episode established that Kurt is the serial killer and now Dexter, and probably Angela, knows it. Dexter even intervened when Kurt tried luring Molly to his creepy cabin, likely to kill her. If you need a quick refresher, you can read our full recap of episode 6 right here.

It looks like Angela and Dexter will team up against Kurt in episode 7. But how will Harrison feel about his dad going after Kurt, one of the few people he likes in Iron Lake?

Dexter: New Blood episode 7 release date

You don’t have to wait too much longer for the next episode of Dexter: New Blood. The seventh episode, titled “Skin of Her Teeth,” will premiere on Showtime on Sunday, December 19. Showtime also releases episodes early so that you can watch the episode as early as midnight EST via the app and website. Otherwise, the episode will air in its usual 9:00 p.m. ET timeslot before a new episode of Yellowjackets.

Dexter: New Blood episode 7 preview

Based on the preview and synopsis of Dexter: New Blood episode 7, it looks like Angela will arrest Kurt. The preview shows Dexter examining Iris’s body, and it also shows Angela headed down into Kurt’s underground cabin bunker.

Additionally, we see Kurt getting his mugshot taken. It could be that Angela doesn’t have enough evidence to charge Kurt with anything yet, so she arrests him on a lesser charge just to get him into custody, but it’s hard to say just yet. The image in the preview could be a misdirection.

We’ll also see Dexter and Kurt having a tense sitdown at what looks like Kurt’s truckstop restaurant, where Harrison has started working. Kurt mentions that at one point, he thought he and Jim would be friends. Except Kurt kills innocent women, and Dexter kills guys just like him. Hopefully, Dexter can convince Harrison not to trust Kurt, but as Deb mentions, Harrison is getting closer to him, which isn’t a good sign. What if Kurt somehow enlists Harrison to help him with his murderous hobby?
