Jack Walters is a new Contributor to 1428 Elm Street who covers all things horror but specializes in (cult) classic B Horror movies, horror gaming, and deep delves into how society’s shadows loom large under the guise of the spooks and specters of the Silver screen. A late-blooming horror fan, Jack finally slipped from the shallows of the horror genre into a full-on plunge in college while obtaining a Bachelor’s in English with a Minor in Japanese from the university of North Texas. From there he discovered a love of all things spooky, but his chief passions were finding new horror games to scream at in the dark of the night, both on the screen and on the tabletop, and new B horror movies which brought thrills, chills, and sometimes just a good laugh. When not delving into the darkness, Jack is a prairie poet born and raised in the Texas Panhandle.
