Blumhouse’s first horror movie of the year is now showing in theaters, and people are flocking to see it, hoping that it won’t disappoint. It’s the new werewolf film Wolf Man, Leigh Whannell's modern-day reboot of George Waggner's 1941 classic The Wolf Man.
In this new take on the classic monster, we follow a family of three: Blake, Charlotte, and their daughter, Ginger. After learning of his father's death and receiving the keys to his childhood home, Blake decides to move his family there, hoping for a fresh start. However, things take a sinister turn when the family encounters a mysterious creature whose single bite transforms Blake in ways they never could have imagined.
Christopher Abbott (The Crowded Room, Sanctuary) stars in the leading role of Blake, while Julia Garner (Apartment 7A, Ozark) plays the role of Charlotte and Matilda Firth (Subservience) as Ginger.
