Wow! It's hard to believe we're already more than halfway through February. Since the start of the year, Shudder has wasted no time releasing new horror content. In fact, the streaming service has already released five brand-new original horror films this year. I'd say Shudder's 2025 lineup has been pretty solid so far, and we're looking forward to all the rest the streamer has in store.
If you’ve been too caught up in the buzz of new theatrical horror releases or just haven’t had the time to catch everything, you might've missed some, if not all, of these recent Shudder releases. Don't worry, though! Below, we've rounded up all five of the newest Shudder original horror films from 2025 so you can easily add them to your watchlist.
Little Bites (2024)

Little Bites is the latest horror film to hit Shudder, released today, Feb. 21, 2025. The story follows a mother who, in a desperate effort to protect her daughter from a flesh-eating demon, makes the hard decision to allow the creature to consume her slowly, piece by piece.
The Dead Thing (2024)

If you're in need of a good laugh, you should definitely check out Get Away on Shudder. Dark Match (2024)

Dark Match follows a small-town wrestling company that takes on a seemingly profitable booking in a remote town. However, the company soon discovers that the town is controlled by a mysterious cult leader who has twisted intentions for their match. This slasher film arrived on Shudder on Jan. 31, 2025.

Grafted is the type of movie for those who don't have weak stomachs. This disturbing body horror film goes all in on the gore and pushes the limits of discomfort with its grotesque and unsettling imagery, making it a visceral experience that will leave you squirming.
The story centers on a shy Chinese scholarship student named Wei, who has a facial deformity. This deformity has made Wei a target for bullying and discrimination, leading her to feel increasingly isolated and desperate to fit in at her prestigious university. However, her obsession with changing her appearance ultimately leads her down a dark and dangerous path. Grafted was released on Shudder on Jan. 24, 2025.
