The upcoming horror film that’s been generating buzz since its announcement has finally dropped an official trailer, and it’s only amped up excitement to see it on the big screen. It's Zach Cregger's new horror flick Weapons, and if you thought that teaser was creepy, the full trailer takes things to a whole new level of disturbing.

From New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures, Weapons is Cregger’s highly anticipated follow-up to his 2022 breakout horror hit, Barbarian. Written, directed, and produced by Cregger, the feature film is slated for a theatrical release this summer. Shrouded in mystery since it was first announced, we’re only now beginning to learn what it’s really about.

The first teaser dropped a week ago and had horror fans dissecting every frame, captivated by its chilling visuals, unsettling sound design, and eerie atmosphere. Now the official trailer has been released, offering an even deeper, more sinister look at the terrifying story that awaits on the big screen. Check it out below and tell me this doesn’t leave you on the edge of your seat and eager for more!

Weapons takes place in a small Florida community where a bunch of kids mysteriously go missing. Julia Garner (Wolf Man) stars as Justine Gandy, a teacher who arrives at school one day to find her entire class gone without a trace. All that is known is that the night before, at exactly 2:17 a.m., all of Ms. Gandy's class got up out of their beds and walked out the front door, never to be seen again.

As shown in the eerie trailer, Ms. Gandy is soon shunned by the townspeople, who begin to suspect her involvement in the strange disappearances. Meanwhile, one of the fathers of the missing children is determined to uncover the truth about his son’s disappearance, while the authorities race to find answers. Joining Garner in the cast are Josh Brolin, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, Amy Madigan, and others.
