A killer pumpkin terrorizes a group of teens in official trailer for Hulu's Carved
Huluween is Hulu's annual Halloween event, and it's now in full effect. This year, Huluween includes a lineup of new releases coming to the streaming platform, such as the upcoming horror-comedy flick Carved. The exciting official trailer for this movie just dropped, and we shared it down below.
Did that sneak peek get you more pumped up for the movie's release? It definitely did for us!
Carved is described as a Huluween original movie. In other words, a Hulu original film. It was directed by Justin Harding (The Haunted Museum) from a screenplay he co-wrote with Cheryl Meyer (The Last Mark). In addition, it's based on the 2018 short film of the same name, which was written and helmed by Harding for Hulu's Huluween Film Fest. This short is currently streaming on Hulu. We recommend checking it out before watching the feature film this October.
WorthenBrooks developed the horror-comedy with David Brooks, Debbie Liebling, Arbi Pedrossian, and Jenna Cavelle signed on as producers. Additionally, Miles Alva is an executive producer, while Lorne Raimi, Alex Hansen, and Nick Page are co-producers on the film.
The film centers around a heartbroken teenage playwright, her younger brother, and a group of survivors who find themselves stuck in a historical reenactment village on Halloween night and must unite together to survive against a killer pumpkin on the loose.
Peyton Elizabeth Lee (Prom Pact, Andi Mack) stars in the leading role of the teenage playwright. Joining her in the cast are Corey Fogelmanis (Ma, My Life with the Walter Boys), Wyatt Lindner (Titans), Carla Jimenez (The Mick), Sasha Mason (Ozark), Jonah Lees (The Phantom of the Open), DJ Qualls (The New Guy), Marc Sully Saint-Fleur (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Elvis Nolasco (Godfather of Harlem), Matty Cardarople (Stranger Things), Jackson Kelly (Chucky), and Chris Elliott (Schitt’s Creek).
Carved is slated to land on Hulu on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024. Don't forget to save the date because this isn't a Halloween movie you want to miss this spooky season!
