These 9 horror movies will be released on Hulu in September 2024

It's almost time to leave August behind to say hello to September, and we're super excited to see what the new month brings! Hulu recently unveiled its complete list of shows and movies coming to the platform in September, and of course, the first thing we were looking for was the horror content.

After looking over the list, we noticed that there are a good amount of horror movies coming to Hulu next month. Don't worry. Below, we shared every single horror film slated to be released on the streaming platform in September.

Us (2019)

Hulu release date: Sept. 1, 2024
Cast: Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker

Us follows a young woman named Adelaide Wilson and her family, who find themselves fighting for survival after being attacked by a group of doppelgängers called "The Tethered" while staying at her childhood beachfront home. You can check out the trailer above.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

• Hulu release date: Sept. 1, 2024
• Cast: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr., Brandy, Mekhi Phifer, Muse Watson, Bill Cobbs, Matthew Settle

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer serves as a sequel to the 1997 slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer. It takes place one year after the events of the first film and follows the only survivors, Julie and Ray, and their new friends as they find themselves once again terrorized by a killer who begins taking them down one by one.

Deliver Us from Evil (2014)

Hulu release date: Sept. 1, 2024

Deliver Us from Evil centers around a troubled New York City police officer who teams up with an unconventional priest specializing in exorcisms to fight against the demonic forces terrorizing their city.

Jennifer's Body (2009)

Cast: Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Simmons, J. K. Simmons, Amy Sedaris, Adam Brody

After a ritual gone wrong, a popular high school student named Jennifer Check becomes possessed by a demonic entity. She then goes on a killing spree, murdering her male classmates to satiate her hunger for human flesh. Now, it's up to her best friend Needy to put a stop to her.

Boy Kills World (2023)

Hulu release date: Sept. 13, 2024
Cast: Bill Skarsgård, Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, Yayan Ruhian, Andrew Koji

Look, I know Boy Kills World isn't technically a horror movie, but I decided to include it because it seems like a film that horror buffs would enjoy. In Boy Kills World, we follow a deaf-mute man who embarks on a quest for vengeance against the people responsible for his family's death.

Grotesquerie (2024)

I know Grotesquerie isn't a horror movie, but I thought I'd still include it because it's a horror show coming to Hulu this September. It follows a detective who joins forces with a local nun to investigate a series of crimes that are affecting their small community.
