In Search of Darkness: Definitive ’80s horror doc set to launch this summer

In Search of Darkness, a crowdfunded documentary that will be a unique, definitive retrospective of ’80s horror, finally gets an official trailer.

Exciting news for horror fans as In Search of Darkness, the highly anticipated documentary film chronicling the complete decade of prime-time horror (a.k.a. the ’80s) gets a trailer and more hints about the upcoming release date!

The film, which was funded through a Kickstarter and earned 300% more than its goal, will be a benchmark documentary for the horror genre. It’ll be the first time we get a complete retrospective of the golden age. Not to mention, the documentary will include horror icons and and greats discussing their experiences during the decade and how their influences have remained so long-lasting.

Not only will the documentary delve into the hallmark films and influences of the ’80s but it will pay tribute to the more obscure titled released at the time, the evolution of special effects, soundtracks, and even the progression of horror from film to television. No stone will be left unturned.
