Fall television is a revered staple in the entertainment industry, and this year is no different. Unlike last year, thankfully, there's more horror to look forward to this time around, including the return of From on MGM+ and original offerings from Peacock.

Ryan Murphy is also back, though not with new episodes of American Horror Story or its spinoff American Horror Stories. Instead, Murphy has tapped Niecy Nash to lead a mysterious drama called Grotesquerie that also features Travis Kelce for some reason.

Beyond that, the end of What We Do in the Shadows is on the horizon, as is the follow-up to Murphy's controversial yet inarguably successful Monster: A Jeffrey Dahmer Story as he examines the story of the Menendez brothers.

Keep reading to see what horror fans have to look forward to on the television side of things this spooky season.

Teacup (Peacock, Oct. 10)

After a mysterious threat causes the deaths of countless people, a small group of survivors in rural Georgia must work together to stay alive. Based on the novel Stinger by Robert McCammon, the upcoming eight-episode series is executive produced by James Wan (The Conjuring Universe, Archive 81), Michael Clear (Archive 81, Swamp Thing), and Rob Hackett (Archive 81, I Know What You Did Last Summer) for Atomic Monster, and Francisca X. Hu and Kevin Tancharoen. Two episodes will drop weekly starting on October 10.

Hysteria! (Peacock, Oct. 18)

Here's looking at you, Bruce Campbell fans. The Evil Dead star and all-around horror icon has a fun new project this fall on Peacock! Set in a small town in the late 1980s during the height of the "Satanic Panic" craze, Hysteria! follows a group of outcasts prepared to use the town's recent strange occurrences (like a missing quarterback, murders, and kidnappings) to create a Satanic image for their metal band.

Unfortunately, that leads the residents straight to them during an ugly witch hunt when supernatural stuff keeps happening. Anna Camp, Julie Bowen, Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis, and Nikki Hahn star. All eight episodes drop on the same day.

From season 3 (MGM+, Sept. 22)

This addictive horror series from Lost executive producers returns next month to unravel more of the compelling mystery behind a town that traps every person who enters. At the end of season 2, we saw one character, Tabitha, potentially escape for the first time, both a blessing and a curse, since she's now separated from her family with no way of getting back to them.

Per the press release, "In the wake of Season Two’s epic cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them."

Grotesquerie (FX, Sept. 25)

The latest horror series from American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy is a 10-episode drama starring Niecy Nash as a Detective investigating a series of horrific crimes plaguing a local community with some assistance from a nun (Micaela Diamond). And as is often the case with Murphy projects, Grotesquerie has some stunt casting—marking the first official acting role for football star Travis Kelce. Episodes will also air the next day on Hulu.

Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story (Netflix, Sept. 19)

Netflix was quick to renew Monster for two seasons after the Evan Peters-led Jeffrey Dahmer series generated over 1 billion minutes viewed. Another project from Ryan Murphy, the show's second season tackles another controversial case with the Menendez brothers, who are currently serving life in prison for the murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise "Kitty" Menendez.

The brothers have always maintained that they did so after suffering years of abuse at their parent's hands. The show will star Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Nathan Lane, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Cooper Koch, and more.

Agatha All Along (Disney+, Sept. 18)

While not a full-blown horror show, this upcoming Disney+ Marvel series is clearly dipping its toes into some popular horror tropes as it revolves around the fan-favorite villainess Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, who is reprising her role from the Emmy-nominated series WandaVision. Powerless after dealing with the Scarlet Witch, Agatha recruits a group of unlikely allies to help her venture down the Witches' Road and regain her powers.

What We Do in the Shadows season 6 (FX, Oct. 21)

The sixth and final season of this beloved and hilarious mockumentary series about vampire roommates living in Staten Island debuts this October with a three-episode premiere (followed by one per week). Like other FX shows, What We Do in the Shadows season 6 will drop episodes on Hulu after the linear premiere. Season 6 is being described as one of re-evaluation for these characters, particularly for a newly-human again, Guillermo.

In addition to the above series, don't forget to check out all of the festive baking and pumpkin-carving competition series returning to Food Network in September!
