Unholy one-off: Ghost and Twin Temple together for one night only
By Devin Shea
Two musical favorites here at 1428 Elm are coming together for one night only in an epic unholy show: Ghost and Twin Temple.
Hell of a Tuesday! Since this morning, Ghost news has been popping up left and right.
If you didn’t know, Ghost announced a bit ago they would be doing another North American tour called the “Ultimate Tour Named Death.” They are hitting lots of cities they missed for A Pale Tour Named Death and Rats on the Road. Not only that, but many shows will have a supporting band with them. One of those supporting bands is a favorite here at 1428 Elm. Twin Temple and Ghost are playing some sweet Satanic tunes on one stage for one night only.
Twin Temple announced in a Tweet that they would be supporting Ghost in a one night show on Sept. 28, 2019 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT. That’s going to be one bad ass show that I only wish I could attend. For those of you that haven’t read our review of Twin Temple’s debut album, the band’s a Satanic doo-wop group. Their music is a far cry from Ghost’s style and yet I can’t imagine a supporting act better suited.
Besides this wonderful, Satan-filled night in Utah, Ghost also announced on Twitter more North American tour dates including locations in Canada. Check them out.
Sep. 23 – Rogers Place, Edmonton, AB

That’s a lot of new additions and I have my fingers crossed we will get some more because I want to see them again (initiate full on weeping). I am forever surprised at just how much Ghost actually manages to do. A new tour, interviews, already talking of their new album and whispers of a possible full length film one day. I am SO hoping for that last one. Twin Temple has a lot on their plate as well after being signed by Rise Above Records and going on tour themselves. This is an amazing year so far for both groups.
If you are new to Ghost, we have a list of their best songs already made up for you to check out.
