July is almost over, which means it's almost August, which means it's almost September, which means it's basically Halloween...right?

Netflix seems to think so because the newly released schedule for next month is packed with great content for horror fans, including the Lee Daniels movie The Deliverance, almost all of the movies from the Child's Play franchise, Pearl, and several popular AMC series like Interview with the Vampire and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.

Here's all the horror content coming to Netflix in August 2024. Time to renew your sub!

The Deliverance (Aug. 30)

Mo'Nique and Lee Daniels collaborate again for this exorcism horror film based on the alleged true story of possession regarding the Latoya Ammons case.

A single mother moves her family into a new home. Not long after they settle in, they begin experiencing supernatural phenomena, with Ebony (Audra Day) believing her children have become possessed by demons. Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Caleb McLaughlin, and Omar Epps also star.

Pearl (Aug. 16)

Revisit this X prequel film from Ti West starring Mia Goth reprising her role as X slasher villain Pearl. In this 1918-set film, we get to see how Pearl went from an aspiring actress stuck on a small farm homestead to a cold-blooded killer. The third film in the trilogy, MaXXXine, is still playing in theaters.

Tarot (Aug. 1)

A Sony horror film released to poor reviews earlier this year, Tarot is a fun PG-13 teen scream with some surprisingly freaky creature designs.

A group of college friends escape to a mansion in the Catskills to celebrate a friend's birthday and find an old deck of Tarot cards in the house. Upon performing readings, their number slowly starts to dwindle as supernatural forces start killing them off one by one in ways eerily similar to what the cards predicted for their futures.

Rebel Moon: Director's Cuts (Aug. 2)

If you really loved Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon duology, you're in luck because you're about to get a lot more of it. While Rebel Moon parts 1 and 2 were rated PG-13, the new director's cuts are R-rated and promise more graphic violence, sexuality, and nudity. See the new red-band trailer above.

Interview with the Vampire (Aug. 19)

One of the best television series you're not watching will finally be available to a much wider audience this month thanks to a new deal between Netflix and AMC.

Based on Anne Rice's popular Vampire Chronicles book series, Interview with the Vampire centers on the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) regaling journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) with his life story with his maker and vampire lover Lestat du Lioncourt (Sam Reid) in early 20th-century New Orleans.

In addition to Interview with the Vampire, Netflix will also begin streaming other horror shows from AMC such as Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, A Discovery of Witches, and The Terror.

Child's Play film series (Aug. 1)

While we wait to find out if Syfy will renew the popular Chucky television series, fans can revisit the original Child's Play film series when (almost) all of the movies hit Netflix on August 1. Sadly, the original 1988 movie won't be available, but you can watch Child's Play 2, Child's Play 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky.
