Under Paris (June 5)

From director Xavier Gens comes a new shark-centric thriller premiering on Netflix this Wednesday, June 5. Reviews have been mixed so far, but if you're into these kinds of creature features, this one is a solid pick for this week, especially since it takes place in summer 2024!

The Watchers (June 7)

Based on the novel by A.M. Shine, The Watchers also marks the official directorial debut of M. Night Shyamalan's daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan. Ishana previously worked with her father on the excellent Apple TV+ series Servant, where she wrote and directed several episodes.

This movie stars Dakota Fanning as an artist stranded in a lush forest in western Ireland where she soon finds herself held captive by mysterious, unseen entities that enjoy watching their captives through a giant glass wall in a secluded cabin.
